She imagined
The dream for Nixed Jewellery was born when founder, Nicole, realised that there are very few practical self-defence products for women. When searching for a product for herself, she realised that most of the products available she wouldn’t buy for herself because they were either impractical to carry or to use in a real-life situation. The ones that were practical, were not aesthetically pleasing. She began to imagine how she could hide self-defence tools in items she carry’s with her everyday. And so the story of Nixed was born.

My dream is that Nixed will be more than a store selling self-defence products. Nixed is so much more. It’s a community of women who celebrate the inherent strength within who we are. As women we all face so many challenges, each both unique and collectively shared. While it’s one thing to be resilient, it is so much more to be so in a community cheering each other on.
